  • English is quite a difficult subject for me. I mean, there are a lot of words to learn, grammar rules to understand and use, texts to read and translate. But it’s all so interesting! Especially for me, being a graduate and dreaming of a nice proffession as an interpretor. All lessons of English are different, but I remembered one lesson most of all. The topic was ‘Proffessions’ and it cought my attention at once. The knowledge of English is very important to any job. But, however, there are some proffessions, which demand more proffessional skills of the language.First of all, at the beginning of the lesson we named as many proffessions as we could. Then we had to work our wisdom. Out of the cut letters we managed to compile the names of the proffessions and found their deffinitions. After this we guessed the names of the proffessions by the photojs our teacher showed to us. Further more we had to mime a couple of them and then to describe one of those proffessions using the words for others to quess what profession the pupil was explaining. Next we watched a video about classic British cars and such a nice proffession as a driver. As it turned out, knowing English in this proffession is as important as driving licence. At the end of the lesson we spoke about our own future proffessions we’d like to have, using the grammar and quessed why each of us wanted to have this exact job. I’m eager to get to know it from my classmates, as we had a home task telling about the reasons of our choice. Being in the last year of studying at school I compared all the pluses and minuses of all proffessions, because I’d have to make my own decision in real life soon. I suppose our teacher was glad to get to know our proffesions and reasons to it. As for me, the lesson was very interesting and useful. I got to know about a lot of interesting proffessions, connected with the English language, such as translator/ interpretor, teacher (of English), programmer, guide, stewardess and others. I hope my future proffession will be somehow connected with what I’ve learned on this lesson. English is quite a difficult subject for me.
