  • My name is Mariia Luferenko. I`d like to tell about the most interesting English lesson. I had an idea to make a film about the history of my school and my native town. I live in a small town, but it has an interesting history. It is green, very beautiful. There are many trees, flowers, bushes etc. It is situated on the picturesque bank of the river Dnipro. As for my town, it has a great history too. I wanted to share this information with my classmates and other pupils. At first, we decided to make a film about the history of our school and our town. It was a great search of necessary information. We used different sources for finding. For example, books, old newspapers. We visited the school and local museums too. I talked with teachers who previously worked there from the first day. When we had all information, we started to make a film. My teachers of English (SvitlanaYuriivna Zhyvitska was the leader and Vita Viktorivna Kokhno) and some classmates who helped them in this case. I was a speaker and had to explain all information to the audience. And that's when the film was ready it was possible to start this informative, unusual lesson. • At the beginning of the lesson, we visited our school museum. Earlier I prepared my speech in English about school history. Pupils were very exciting when they heard my report. Then we went to the classroom and watched our film. It has much interesting information and questions in it. We saw many generations of pupils in this film. My classmates and I could see ourselves in the childhood. We looked on our teachers when they were younger. It is very educative and fascinating film. After watching a film, every student had a chance to tell all information that he knew about this topic. We had several types of work at the lesson. The students worked in 4 groups. They had the task on the definition of truefalse. Then picked up proverbs about the house. Such as Every bird likes its own nest; Dry bread at home is better than roast meat abroad; The wider we roam, the welcome home; Learn - sharpen the mind; A little knowledge is a dangerous thing; Home, sweet home; When at Rome, do as the Romans do. Then made sentences from the suggested words on paper. Then we restored the order information to the relevant order in the film. As the conclusion, all pupils got their homework. It was preparing an oral story about the history of our native region. As for me, I like this lesson very much because we not only studied English and history too. I shall remember it. This film was showed for pupils from other classes and impressed them too. I wish that such lessons could be as much as possible!I would like to offer you to watch this movie. Better to see once than hear hundred times. You can watch this movie here → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt5p6-jACRM
